Caduceus Health Society connects pre-health students as they perform resume-strengthening activities such as volunteer work, studying, building their healthcare-related applications and networking with a group of people who are going through the same steps to reach their dream careers.
Nearly 500 students were named to Fort Lewis College's Dean's List for the Fall 2017 semester. These students took at least 15 credits of gradable hours and achieved a 3.60 or higher grade point average.
In a ceremony on Saturday, April 29, 2017, more than 400 Fort Lewis College graduates and their families packed Whalen Gymnasium for Fall Commencement. The speaker chosen to offer the Commencement Address was Kevin Gover, director of the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of the American Indian.
The Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity Conference, held March 30, is a premier annual event at The University of Alabama that provides students with the opportunity to highlight their research or creative activity. In addition to bringing attention to the outstanding work being done by UA's undergraduates, the conference allows students to gain experience presenting, become eligible for cash prizes, and form relationships with faculty mentors and fellow conference presenters. The Fort Lewis College School of Arts and Sciences held its annual Undergraduate Research & Creative Activities Symposium on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Student participants were selected by their departments to represent the best undergraduate research and performances done at Fort Lewis College this year, either in oral or poster presentations.
The following people recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.
